It’s another mystery pick for Cat and she has picked 2004’s A Cinderella Story. This is a movie that attempts to bring a classic fairy tale into the 21st century, but does it succeed or is it a by-the-numbers money spinner?

Synopsis: A teenager with a wicked stepmother develops an online relationship with a popular high school quarterback.

We’ll talk about the film’s scores, go over the whole plot, talk about trivia and more. We’ll also do a bit of reminiscing about the 00s and ask if storing your flip-phone on your ankle is a good idea, and if two good performances are enough to take a movie from rotten to fresh.
