About this listen

Where does your franchise go when it has nowhere else to go? That’s right, SPACE! This week it’s 2001’s (or 2002’s depending on who you ask) horror adjacent space slasher; Jason X. We’ve had quite a few requests for this one, so Mikey decided to choose it for his mystery pick!

Synopsis: ‘Jason Voorhees is cryogenically frozen at the beginning of the 21st century, and is discovered in the 25th century and taken to space. He gets thawed, and begins stalking and killing the crew of the spaceship that's transporting him.’

We’ll talk about the film’s scores, go over the whole plot, talk about trivia and more. We’ll also talk about what led to this movie’s release, do out first ‘kill count’ and fair warning, there is also a lot of nippy noo noo chat!

If you would like to tell us what you thought of Jason X, suggest a rotten film you’d like us to talk about or just say hello you can email us at rankrottenpod@gmail.com, or contact us on Instagram which is @rankrottenpod. Stay fresh and thanks for listening!
