In the second of a three part special, Sue France talks to Susie Mathis.
Susie Mathis was a member of one of the Uk's first pop bands,The Paper Dolls. She then became a DJ on Radio Piccadilly and a presenter on Top of the Pops. Sue met Susie when she went to work for a Manchester charity called "The Kirsty Appeal". Susie ran the charity with Philip Taylor . Susie was also a highly successful event organiser and it was whilst working at the charity that Sue learnt everything she knows about the event industry. This is the first of a series of podcasts which look at the amazing life Susie has led and the reasons why she became Sue's mentor.
