Episode 8 – Chikkis in the Building | Room 12 Podcast

We’re back with another episode, and this week we have a special guest in the building — Chikkis.

Quick heads up: the first half of the episode had the mics off, so we apologize for the audio there, but the conversation was too good not to keep. Once everything kicks in, we get into a lot of funny, spicy, and real topics that had everyone dying.

We start off with one of the wildest questions yet: what are you doing if your friend makes out with someone right after they throw up? From there we get into double texting and whether it’s toxic or not, and why the only time it’s “valid” is if you send money. Vezzy talks about being toxic when people don’t answer his calls, and we dive into how everyone from older people to little kids is glued to their phones now. reminisce on the Myspace Top 8 days, and laugh about how Lume used to think Snapchat was strictly for cheaters.

The episode also gets into what dating is like in 2025, where people even meet now, how co-parenting affects relationships, and how much social media changes the way people act in person. Chikkis talks about getting ready to plan a quinceañera for her daughter, and we talk about who your “meme person” is — the one person you send memes to all day without even thinking.

Later in the episode we have some fun playing Never Have I Ever: Five Fingers Down, talking about texting your ex, dating someone just for fun, laughing so hard you peed, and a bunch of other things that got everyone cracking up.

Episode 7: “We Have Haters”

This week, we kick things off with our first official shoutout — showing love to Baker’s Pantry in Corning, CA 🖤💛

Then we dive into something new for us… haters. We got our first real taste of TikTok hate — and honestly, we appreciate it. We talk about how it felt, how we took it, and why even negativity means we’re doing something right.

We also open up about how our podcast doesn’t really have a niche — and that’s the point. Just like when we started EIMG, we’re building something real, figuring it out as we go. We reflect on how Episode 5 was recorded back in July and now it’s October, life hit, and we had to take a break. But we’re back, better, and focused.

We get into the question — what’s more important: hard work and dedication or talent?

Vezzy gets real about feeling like he’s “messing up in life,” and we talk about how maybe no one ever truly figures it out — you just keep learning and growing.

We also talk about the positive feedback from y’all and how the podcast is becoming an escape, both for us and for the people listening. From movies and music to influencers — are we influencers now? 👀
