Anna Vick was strong in her faith from a young age. A mission trip usually helps one grow in their faith, but Anna felt a disconnect with God after returning from Haiti and witnessing extreme poverty. It was difficult for Anna to reconcile in her young mind how God could allow such despair. Anna threw her Bible away and almost threw away her life. God never walked away. Anna did. However, God would confront the enemy within Anna which ended up being herself. A series of events would help Anna identify that enemy. Just as Jesus was crucified and rose again, Anna experienced a spiritual crucifixion in her own life. She continues to triumph in her faith through the new life God intended for her all along.
