  • How To Act When The Heat Is Turned Up 1•4•26
    Jan 5 2026

How to Act When the Heat Is Turned Up, preached by Apostle Gregory D. Kelley, launches 2026 with a clear call to unshakable faith. Rooted in Daniel 3, this sermon challenges believers to stop underestimating small beginnings and resist the pressure to create false images to impress others, because image building quickly becomes idol building. When the heat is on, we must decide if we will be stuck up, kiss up, or stand up for the Kingdom of God. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we trust that God is able to deliver us, but even if He does not do it our way, we will not move. God allows the fire to reveal deeper issues, not to destroy us, and He defends His people better than they can defend themselves. As Isaiah reminds us, the flames will not consume us, because the hotter the attack, the more secure we must be in who God created us to be.

  • When You Need A Fresh Start Pt. 2 12•31•25
    Jan 3 2026

What a powerful way to cross over. In this New Year’s Eve message, When You Need a Fresh Start, Pt. 2, we were reminded that God is the God of second chances and fresh starts. Drawing from Zechariah 10:6, Hosea 14:5, and Psalm 145:14, this word spoke directly to anyone who has felt tired, stuck, or close to giving up. The reminder was clear and timely. You picked a good day to come to church, because it is always too soon to give up.

This sermon walked us through the HEART process, challenging the excuses that often block our growth. From letting go of past failures to trusting God with what we cannot control, we were encouraged to stop making excuses, take stock of what we have learned, act in faith, refocus our minds, and trust that God knows exactly what He is doing. With scriptures like Isaiah 43:18–19, Matthew 9:29, and Jeremiah 18:5–6 anchoring the message, this word set the tone for the year ahead. A fresh building, a fresh year, and a fresh start. This was not just a service, it was a reset.

  • When You Need A Fresh Start 12•28•25
    Dec 31 2025

This powerful and emotional Sunday sermon marks a historic moment in the life of the church—the final service of Restoration of Life before being renamed The Church of Celebration, and the last worship service in a building that served faithfully for 26 years. It is a message perfectly fitting for transition, renewal, and hope.

In When You Need a Fresh Start, Apostle Gregory D. Kelley reminds the congregation that God is a God of second chances, restoration, and new beginnings. Teaching from Zechariah 10:6 (MSG), Hosea 14:5 (MSG), and Psalm 145:14 (MSG), this sermon speaks directly to those who feel weary, discouraged, or tempted to give up—declaring that it is always too soon to quit.

Using the memorable framework S.T.A.R.T., Apostle Kelley addresses the excuses that often hold people back and offers biblical truth to move forward in faith:

    • S — Stop making excuses for not starting
      Including the four common excuses:
      1. I don’t have what it takes
      2. I have failed in the past — Isaiah 43:18–19 (TEV), Proverbs 28:13 (Living Bible)
      3. There are things I can’t control — Proverbs 24:10 (CEV)
      4. I don’t know what the future holds — Ecclesiastes 11:4 (Living Bible)
    • T — Take stock of what I have
Reflecting on lessons learned and seeking wise counsel — Galatians 3:4 (ICB), Proverbs 15:22 (TEV)
    • A — Act in faith — Matthew 9:29 (NIV)
    • R — Refocus my mind — Psalm 1:1–3 (TEV), Proverbs 4:23 (TEV)
    • T — Trust that God knows what He is doing — Jeremiah 18:4–6 (TEV)

This sermon is both a farewell and a forward-looking declaration—honoring the past while stepping boldly into God’s future. It serves as a reminder that endings are often the doorway to fresh starts, and God is always at work shaping something new.
