La resolución aprueba un protocolo obligatorio para la medición del valor de puesta a tierra y la verificación de la continuidad de las masas en todos los ambientes laborales, con el objetivo de prevenir riesgos de contacto eléctrico indirecto para los trabajadores. Dicho protocolo y sus mediciones tendrán una validez de doce meses, requiriendo un plan de acción si los valores no cumplen con la Reglamentación de la Asociación Electrotécnica Argentina (A.E.A.).
