Va ser una de les pioneres del blues a Espanya, Big Mama ha estat professora de cant a l'Escola de Músics Jam Session de Barcelona. L'any 2007 Big Mama és escollida Artista BluesCat. Des de l'any 2014, Pratdesaba és membre de la Junta Directiva de MUSICAT i des de 2013, forma part de la European Blues Union, també ha portat el blues a les escoles, entre moltes altres coses vinculades al blues. Al llarg d'aquests anys ha tingut bandes pròpies, així com moltes col·laboracions amb diferents músics i també molts d'àlbums gravats. Ha estat presidenta de la Societat de Blues de Barcelona i actualment continua portant el blues arreu amb molts concerts.
