  • Euphoria is Back! Sydney Sweeney joins OnlyFans, Zendaya is a Mule, & More! | Recap & Record Podcast
    Apr 14 2026
We’re back.Levi & Los officially stepped away from dragons, fantasy worlds, and everything that felt safely fictional… and walked straight into whatever the hell Euphoria just gave us in Season 3, Episode 1.And yeah… this one feels a little too real. It’s been four years since Season 2, and somehow Rue is no longer just battling addiction, she’s running drugs across the border, swallowing balloons like it’s a job requirement, and still telling herself she’s trying to be a good person. That’s kind of the core of this whole episode. It’s messy, it’s uncomfortable, and it constantly leaves you wondering if we’re watching a redemption arc or the slowest crash out of all time.We went into this episode hoping for direction. Instead, we got chaos… but in that very specific Euphoria way where it still looks incredible, still feels intense, and still somehow pulls you in even when you’re questioning every decision being made. Zendaya shows up immediately and reminds everyone why she’s the backbone of this show, because every time we leave Rue’s storyline, it honestly feels like we’re leaving the actual plot behind. Then we check in with everyone else, and somehow things get even weirder. Nate might be the most put-together person in the episode, which is insane considering everything we know about him. Cassie is pitching OnlyFans like it’s a long-term financial strategy, Maddy is living a highlight reel life that doesn’t quite match reality, and Lexi is just off to the side casually dropping takes that feel a little too real for this universe. And that’s kind of where we’re at after Episode 1. Nobody really feels grounded, nobody seems to be learning anything, and everything feels like it’s building toward something… we just have no idea what that something is yet.We talk through all of it. The insane opening scene, Rue’s new situation and how bad it can actually get, the direction of the show after such a long break, and whether this season is setting up redemption or just doubling down on the chaos. We also get into everything surrounding the show itself, from the long delay to the cast changes and what that might mean for where this story is heading. At the end of the day, this episode reminds you exactly why people got hooked on Euphoria in the first place. It’s uncomfortable, it’s unpredictable, and even when you’re sitting there asking “what are we doing here”… you’re still watching. And honestly, that might be the whole point.New episodes of Recap & Record dropping as we go through Season 3.Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/recapnrecord/https://www.instagram.com/280plus_pod/https://www.instagram.com/whatarewedoing_pod/Follow us on X: https://x.com/levi_mccurdyhttps://x.com/280plus_Pod

  • The Morrow | HBO's A Knight of The Seven (Nine) Kingdoms, Season 1 Finale | Recap & Record
    Feb 24 2026

Levi & Los are back for the Season 1 Finale of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms — and yeah… we’re not ready to say goodbye.Episode 6, “The Morrow,” gives us a quieter but emotionally heavy ending as Dunk wrestles with survivor’s guilt after Baelor’s death. Why did the gods spare a hedge knight from Flea Bottom… and take a prince? We break down:• Dunk’s crisis of identity and self-worth• Lyonel Baratheon delivering the most necessary reality check of the season• The surprisingly human side of Prince Maekar• Egg standing over Aerion with a dagger (WHAT a scene)• The nature vs. nurture debate around Targaryen madness• Why Dunk refuses the easy path at Summerhall• And how Egg cons his way back into becoming Dunk’s squireThis finale leans dramatic, but it doesn’t forget the humor — Raymond Fossoway’s chaotic marriage announcement might be the wildest side quest of the episode. And that final shot? Ser Arlan riding off into memory while Dunk steps into his own identity as a true knight? Chef’s kiss.We also dive into:🔥 The House of the Dragon Season 3 trailer🔥 The IMDb review-bomb war between Breaking Bad and AKOTSK🔥 The new Game of Thrones stage play covering Robert’s Rebellion🔥 And what we expect from Season 2 (Dorne, Blackfyre rebellions, and possibly Henry Cavill??)By the end of this episode, Dunk isn’t just surviving Westeros — he’s choosing the kind of knight he wants to be. And Egg choosing the road over royalty? That’s the beginning of something much bigger.Season 2 can’t come soon enough.Drop your thoughts below:Was “The Morrow” a perfect ending?Did Maekar earn your respect? And are you ready for Dunk & Egg wandering the Nine Kingdoms?Like, subscribe, and ride with us into Season 2.#AKOTSK #DunkAndEgg #GameOfThrones #HouseOfTheDragon #RecapAndRecord

Recap & Record – AKOTSK Episode 5 | “In the Name of the Mother.”0:00 - Opening Remarks & Thoughts on The Episode Overall5:30 - Los Listens to The World of Ice & Fire, The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones9:05 - A Westeros History Lesson with Los16:45 - Dunk & Egg Spoil Henry Cavill in GOT19:00 - GRRM Gives An Update on New Books26:17 - In the Name of the Mother, Episode BreakdownThis week, Levi & Los break down one of the most intense episodes of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms so far. Episode 5 throws us straight into the seven-way trial by combat as Prince Baelor Targaryen, the Hand of the King, joins Ser Duncan the Tall’s side and takes command of the chaos. His advice is simple: stay mounted… and don’t die.We go inside Dunk’s helmet as he takes a brutal beating from Prince Aerion Targaryen. After a lance to the gut and a mace to the face, Dunk blacks out, and the episode takes us back to his childhood in Flea Bottom. We meet young Dunk, his friend Rafe, and witness the trauma that shaped the man he would become. The lesson from Ser Arlan of Pennytree echoes across time: get up.Back in the mud, Aerion pushes Dunk to the brink. Stabbed, concussed, and nearly finished, Dunk hears Egg’s voice and finds the strength to rise. What follows is one of the most satisfying reversals in the series as Dunk overwhelms Aerion and forces him to yield. But victory comes at a cost. When Baelor removes his helmet, the damage is revealed, and the episode delivers a devastating final blow that changes everything. We talk through the action, the flashbacks, Baelor’s legacy, Egg’s growth, and why this might be the strongest episode of the season so far.Subscribe for weekly breakdowns of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and let us know in the comments: Was Baelor’s death inevitable… or the cruelest twist yet?
