Joshua 15–16 The land is carefully divided among the tribes, with Judah receiving its vast inheritance and Ephraim and Manasseh allotted their portions. Boundaries are drawn, cities named, and the promise of God’s provision takes shape in tangible territory. Yet, the text also notes unfinished obedience—certain peoples remain in the land—reminding us that faithfulness requires both receiving God’s gift and fully living into it.
