Dan Jurgens — When I was s kid I was very shy and had a crush on a girl I could never ever talk to. I also read The Warlord comic by Mike Grell and would fantasize about being it’s hero, Travis Morgan, trapped in the inner-Earth world of Skartaris and rescuing that cute girl with nothing but my sword and my bravery. This really has nothing to do with Dan Jurgens except, years later, Dan took over both writing and drawing that book. He did a great job. I just wanted to tell you about the girl.

The mooks huddled for a special episode before Season 2 drops to talk about James Gunn’s Superman. Know this now : MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

If you haven’t seen the film yet, do not listen to this episode until you do.

A couple of quick production notes. The service we used to make this episode happen played hell with our audio. What sounds like quick cuts in the beginning was the Riverside platform catching up with itself from time to time. Also, every time we all collectively laughed, we overloaded the app, which is kind of funny. We’ll use a different app next time.
