• #213 Rambling About Life Updates & God's Faithfulness In The Middle Of It All
    Feb 16 2026

In this episode, we're doing what we do best: rambling through real life and noticing God's faithfulness in the middle of it all. We share an update on the pet swans, life on the farm, and highlights from the National Wild Turkey Federation Convention at the Opryland Hotel. We also talk about a beautiful caregiver support group in our community and confess our latest TikTok Shop fashion finds. Then in true Rambling fashion, we slow down for what matters most and discuss where we are struggling and how God meets us right in the middle of life's heaviness. Whether you're folding laundry, driving carpool, or sitting in a quiet moment, we hope this episode reminds you that you are seen, loved, and never alone.

  • #211 Young Lives, Big Calling: Loving Young Mamas Well with Jen Wilson
    Feb 9 2026

February is Pro Life Month, and we're honored to welcome Jen Wilson back to the show to talk about Young Lives ministry, why it matters, and how each of us can love young mamas well from right where we are.

Jen shares the powerful story of how God planted the seed for this ministry in the middle of her own cancer journey, and how saying yes to this work has radically changed her life. Through Young Lives, teen moms are seen, known, supported, and reminded that they are deeply loved by God and by the people walking alongside them.

This conversation is both encouraging and practical. Jen helps us think through what it looks like to step outside our comfort zones, listen for God's call, and respond with obedience, even when it's not easy. As she beautifully says, "It's not easy, but it's an incredible privilege."

There are so many ways to get involved with Young Lives through prayer, financial support, providing a meal, helping with childcare, mentoring a young mama, or supporting an upcoming local shopping event later this month.

If you've ever wondered how God might be inviting you to love well in a tangible way, this episode is for you.

  • #210 Everything Under the Southern Sun with Susannah B. Lewis
    Jan 19 2026

This week on the podcast, we're joined by our dear friend and bestselling author Susannah B. Lewis for a heartfelt conversation about everything under the southern sun. Susannah shares vulnerable and powerful truth about the "people test," the danger of speaking curses over our own lives, and how God can use even our worst talk to accomplish His purposes. We unpack how Satan pulls us into doubt and self-reliance, why apart from Christ we can do nothing, and how getting ahead of God often leads to a harder fall later.

We also discuss where Susannah finds inspiration for her fictional book characters and the exciting projects she has coming up next. We close with our memory verse for the month, Isaiah 43:19, a reminder that God is always doing something new, even when we can't see it yet. This is a conversation about humility, obedience, and learning to stay aligned with the One who invites us into His work, not because He needs us, but because He loves us.

We hope that with each and every episode, you will find us talking about Jesus in our everyday lives while also learning, being challenged, and growing together while loving and laughing about what makes up our everyday lives. We are so thankful Jesus is right there with us in the middle of it all.

  • #209 Our Hope is In Christ Alone
    Jan 12 2026

In this episode, we're sharing a little of everything that's been inspiring, entertaining, and stretching us lately, including a new favorite book, Theo of Golden, and the return of an old favorite show, The Traitors on Peacock, because who doesn't love a little strategy, psychology, and drama?

From there, things take a turn into real life with updates on Fran's family and reflections from a recent Leadership Summit including the top 10 things she wants us all to know about leadership, growth, and showing up well in the world.

We wrap up with our January memory verse, Isaiah 43:18–20, focusing on the powerful reminder to "forget the former things" and not dwell on the past. God is always doing a new thing even when we don't see it yet, making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

This episode is a mix of fun, faith, leadership, and encouragement for stepping into what's next with open hands and open hearts.

January Memory Verse: Isaiah 43:18–20 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"

  • #208 Walking Into a New Year with Heavy Yet Full Hearts
    Jan 5 2026

Grief changes us, but it doesn't get the final word. 🤍 In this week's conversation, Fran shares reflections on love and loss following her dad's passing, and how even in seasons of grief, God meets us with comfort, perspective, and quiet strength. We talk about the reminders loss brings, what truly matters, how precious our days are, and the hope we hold onto when things feel uncertain.

  • #207 Rambling Through Life Updates, a Day Trip to NYC, and the Father's Love for Us
    Dec 15 2025

This week's podcast episode is extra special because it's our last episode before January. We're talking about some of our favorite Christmas traditions, Fran's recent day trip to New York City, and then we slow things down to reflect on our December memory verse:

"But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.' Luke 2:10–11

As we close out the year, we're reminded just how deeply God loves each one of us personally, intentionally, and completely. We pray this conversation brings you peace, joy, and hope as you finish out the Christmas season.
