On one side we have purity culture modesty with its stringent rules and damaging lessons and yet, on the other we have secular patriarchy with its toxic and objectifying attitudes toward women.In the end a new viewpoint is offered where young women are encouraged to make intentional and empowered choices rather than follow lists of clothing rules and regulations or falling victim to popular culture and its toxic messages about beauty standards and women's bodies.
