Instead, Victoria Martens spent her final night on earth in a nightmare no child should ever endure. Strangled, dismembered, and set on fire, Victoria’s death wasn’t just a crime - it was an indictment of every missed red flag, every broken system, and every adult who failed her…including her own mother. This episode unpacks the unthinkable; not just the brutality of the homicide itself, but the lies, cover-ups, and systemic negligence that essentially let it happen. This is a devastating case that will shake you, haunt you, and force you to ask: how do we live in a world that allowed this little girl to die like that? Trigger Warning: This episode contains graphic discussions of child abuse, sexual violence, and murder. Listener discretion is strongly advised. Apr 30 2025
Join our Patreon family for exclusive live streams, access to BTS, bonus episodes, a private group chat, first dibs on ticket and merch sales, and more! www.Patreon.com/PsychopediaPod When Chippendales, the world’s first all-male strip show exploded onto the scene in the late 1970s, it wasn’t just about rock-hard abs and screaming fans — it was about money, control, and the kind of ego that could, and did, kill. Because behind the glossy tearaway pants and neon lights, a toxic, lethal feud festered between the club’s founder, Somen Banerjee, and his creative partner/future victim, Nick De Noia. What culminated was a murder-for-hire plot that turned America's sexiest male strip production into a bloodstained crime scene. Incredibly, the tragic events of this savage real-life thriller involved hired hitmen, arson, FBI stings, and a man so obsessed with control, he burned it all to the ground rather than share the stage. Apr 28 2025
Born into a chaotic, hellraising and deeply tight-knit family, Saraya learned to never back down from a challenge. She’s a rule breaker and drawn to people with the same mentality. In “Rulebreakers,” her DGAF attitude takes center stage while also exploring vulnerability and transparency with listeners. Every week, Saraya and a guest will explore their unconventional paths to success. Apr 23 2025
Join our Patreon family for exclusive access to BTS, bonus episodes, a private group chat, first dibs on ticket and merch sales, and more! www.Patreon.com/PsychopediaPod The Chijon Family was a nightmarishly savage South Korean gang that blazed a brief but blood-soaked trail of terror between 1993 and 1994. Spearheaded by 27-year-old Kim Gi-hwan—a man consumed by venomous hatred for the rich—the group was less a gang and more a death cult fueled by vengeance and sadism. Kim handpicked six like-minded men, each one simmering with rage and ready to spill blood in the name of class warfare. What followed wasn’t just violence—it was depravity in its purest form: abductions, captivity, torture, murder, and cannibalism, all inflicted upon innocent victims chosen solely for their perceived wealth. It was cruelty wrapped in ideology, and humanity didn’t stand a chance. • EP121: Serial Killer Pedro López: Monster of the Andes
    Apr 16 2025
Join our Patreon family for exclusive access to BTS, bonus episodes, a private group chat, first dibs on ticket and merch sales, and more! www.Patreon.com/PsychopediaPod Pedro López confessed to the rape and murder of over 300 young girls across Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru — a number so staggering, it’s less of a crime spree and more like a mass extermination. The sheer scale of his brutality places him amongst the most prolific serial killers in history, but it’s not just the body count that makes him infamous. It’s the chilling coldness with which he hunted his victims, relentlessly stalking alleys, villages, ad marketplaces, taking lives like a predator out for sport. His motives? A twisted, grotesque revenge born from a childhood drenched in abuse and neglect that not only broke him, but transformed him into something far darker. And what's even more terrifying is that he may still be out there, walking among us... Apr 9 2025
Join our Patreon family for exclusive access to BTS, bonus episodes, a private group chat, first dibs on ticket and merch sales, and more! www.Patreon.com/PsychopediaPod Miriam Rodríguez was a 56-year-old mother living in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, when her life was shattered in 2014. Her 20-year-old daughter, Karen, was kidnapped by members of Los Zetas—one of Mexico’s most brutal and violent drug cartels. Despite paying a ransom, Miriam never saw her daughter alive again. Karen’s remains were discovered nearly two years later, buried in a shallow grave. But Miriam didn’t just grieve—she transformed. Fueled by anguish and an unshakable sense of justice, she launched her own investigation, meticulously tracking down her daughter’s killers one by one. Disguising herself, using fake identities, and gathering intelligence like a seasoned detective, she helped locate and bring nearly a dozen cartel members to justice—essentially building cases where law enforcement had failed or refused to act. Miriam's astounding story remains a searing indictment of government inaction, cartel terror, and the price of speaking truth to power in a country where justice is often buried alongside the victims. Unbeknownst to them, their coworker, 24-year-old YouTuber Randy Stair, coldly barricaded the store’s exits as he prepared for a brutal massacre with chilling determination. Moments later, Randy removed his shotgun and unleashed a horrifying wave of violence, shooting and killing three innocent people before turning the gun on himself. In the days leading up to this absolutely devastating tragedy, Randy broadcasted his dark intentions on his YouTube channel, revealing his twisted plan for destruction and exposing the depths of his pain and inner turmoil. This horrific event is not only about the shocking crime Randy executed, but the years of silent suffering and escalating darkness that drove him to that fateful moment. • EP118: Never Again: UK's Last Woman Hanged
    Mar 26 2025
Visit Patreon.com/psychopediapod for exclusive content and join our family of little psychos! We'd love to have you. Note/Correction: Investigator Slater kept referring to A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story as a Netflix series, but it actually aired on BritBox. She's very sorry. Ruth Ellis was a 28-year-old nightclub hostess and mother who, in 1955, became the last woman to be executed in the United Kingdom. Her crime: the premeditated shooting of her abusive lover, David Blakely, outside a London pub in broad daylight. The trial was swift and the verdict was inevitable: Ruth Ellis was to hang for her crime. Despite mounting public sympathy and clear evidence of sustained physical and emotional abuse, the legal system refused to consider her mental state or the context of her actions. Ruth's execution sparked national outrage and helped ignite a decades-long movement toward the abolition of capital punishment in Britain. Her story remains one of the most haunting examples of how justice can fail those trapped by violence, gender, and a system determined to punish and condemn, rather than understand and help. So, while this is the story of Ruth Ellis, it is, at its core, about so much more.
