 Fidelitat, dignitat i humilitat. Em fa que són els tres valors que millor s’adiuen, en una apreciació global d’urgència, amb els trenta-cinc anys d’Al Tall acabats de commemorar: tocant, cantant, interpretant; entretenint, divertint, emocionant. Sembla que va ser fa quatre dies quan, allà per l’any 1975, Miquel Gil, Manuel Miralles i Vicent Torrent —diuen que a cal músic Tonipep Rodríguez— formaven el grup i temptejaven els primers recitals:
