 David Avino è un informatico, dopo aver frequentato l’accademia militare e servito come ufficiale per 8 anni la Brigata Paracadutisti. E’ stato istruttore certificato NASA ed ESA. Nel 2008 fonda Argotec, azienda ingegneristica aerospaziale, le cui attività di ricerca e innovazione riguardano principalmente la realizzazione di satelliti di piccole dimensioni per il deep space e lo sviluppo di soluzioni tecnologiche volte a supportare il comfort degli astronauti.
