About this listen
Hey my lovely listeners!
- The first topic will be on the gift of prayer and fasting.
- I want to address the power behind both and how introducing these gifts to your walk with Christ can bring breakthrough and healing.
- I will explain what prayer and fasting both are from a biblical perspective and what it realistically looks like in our lives (what are some biblical and realistic examples).
- Break the stigma around “religious fasting” and why we should fast.
- Provide tips/advice and encouragement for those interested in fasting or seeking the Lord.
- Provide insight on how to pray, what to read and listen to during your fast. How to begin/break your fast, and some creative ways to spend your time set apart for Jesus.
- I want to bring a guest artist on the show to share their testimony of fasting! What type of fast did they do? Why? How long? What did they experience during and after the fast? What advice would they give to those who are about to do the same thing or are willing? How to keep going even after a mess up? What are some of the spiritual differences they noticed from partaking in the fast?
Tune in to hear all of my wonderful sisters and I go into depth about prayer & fasting! God bless you all! (This was pre-recorded on Jan.2nd)
