In this tragic case, Tiara Pool, a 21-year-old Navy wife from Jacksonville, Florida, met David Sparre on Craigslist. Their encounter took a horrific turn when Sparre brutally stabbed Tiara 89 times in her apartment in July 2010. Tiara's search for companionship ended in a senseless and brutal murder. Sparre was arrested, and during his trial, he didn't defend himself. He received the death penalty. Despite later appeals about his legal representation and mental health, he remained on death row.
