About this listen

Political Escape Pod is here to help you deal with the 2nd four-year term of you-know-who as you-know-what. We'll occasionally talk about politics or current events, usually in form of venting or questioning. But, we'll also review movies & TV shows with a political theme as we imagine a world where politics might be more like "The West Wing," "The American President," "Madam Secretary," or even "Air Force One."Political Escape Pod Art

  • #001 - Political Escape Pod - Intro & Post-Election Time Capsule
    Jan 20 2025

"Political Escape Pod" is the new podcast helping people get through the next four years of you-know-who as you-know-what. Sometimes, we'll discuss, question, or vent about politics and current events. But, sometimes, we also plan to review movies & TV shows with political themes.

Our first episode is a bit of a time capsule. Recorded a few days after the 2024 election, we discussed what went wrong, what worked and what didn't, and how maybe things should go next time.

Stay turned for more up-do-date episodes as we traverse this next four year term together, providing some informal "political therapy" and hopefully come out sane and free on the other side.
