  • Ep 24: Nikki Hiltz
    Aug 28 2025

“I’m on this journey to see how fast I can run three and three quarter lap - I’m not doing it for love and praise, and I’m not doing it for hate and backlash - I’m doing this because this is who I am”.

Nikki Hiltz was a brilliant guest on Podium, recorded just before they won their first ever Diamond League meeting in Brussels (we’d love to say we planned this, timing wise…!).

The 1500m specialist, who won silver at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in 2024, is blazing a trail, having come out as non-binary in 2021. Nikki is one of few track and field athletes to transcend the sport and in this interview they talk about their journey to the top of their game.

    Aug 21 2025

It was a huge honour to have Canada's 2023 800m world champion Marco Arop join the Podium team to discuss his life and career so far.

Arop is at the forefront of a golden era for his event, a friendly rivalry with Emmanuel Wanyonyi putting the men's 800m on the brink of a new world record, among what is already epic racing.

Marco talks about his roots in the sport and how much he feels he owes his family for his success - and much more.
