About this listen

But have nothing to do with irreverent and silly myths. Rather, train yourself in godliness, for the training of the body has limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:7-8

Spiritual growth is not a competition. We don’t practice spiritual disciplines to earn more of God’s love for us, but to make space in our lives for the grace of God to transform us so that the life of Christ flows out of us in every situation.

For more on the purpose of spiritual disciplines and the way we should approach them, check out this latest message.*
