In this episode, we study through the 2nd chapter of Proverbs, and the dangers of forsaking wisdom. We discuss many important things found within this powerful chapter Solomon wrote. To forsake wisdom is to be a fool, or at least to act like one. There is much to be learned in life, and there is a wealth of information to gain here. In this episode, we embark on a new book study, and we are thrilled to announce that it is the book of Proverbs! We go through the entire first chapter, and it becomes evident pretty quickly, this is going to be a fun study. There is so much to take into consideration, and so many things that we can all apply to our lives. We try to take our main cue from the author of this book, who was known as the wisest man who ever lived. What I mean by that is this: we do our very best to introduce you to Wisdom… and we have a blast doing just that! Come on and study through Proverbs 1 with us today!

In this episode, we draw some parallels between America and Israel, highlighting their shared foundation in God's purpose. Both nations are blessed when they follow God, but they both face cursing when they turn away from God. We discuss Israel's decline due to idolatry and breaking covenant with God, which leads to destruction. Similarly, it appears that America has lost its focus, turning away from God. This has resulted in moral decay and it has brought about the removal of divine protection. We stress America’s need for repentance and to return to biblical principles to avoid judgment.
