  • The Cluster: A Debt Repaid? (Session 3)
    Feb 19 2026
Alun R facilitates the next session in a series of 'The Cluster', his own PbtA space opera game.

Picking up from last session's cliffhanger, the Crew agree to disagree about the demand from the Guild of the Metal Flower rep. There's the threat of pursuit and fallout but also the offer of a job. Gort gets them there; Beckett gets them in; and Serena stimulates a distraction to get them out. Nothing goes entirely to plan, but they begin to pay off Gort's debts. Then Ring Space, manual labour, and a tricky job offer involving a planet wracked by endless war and the consequences of an ancient nuclear holocaust ...

  • Cloud Empress Q1 2026 session 6 - Oregano's Plaza
    Feb 17 2026
The group followed Vanni, a decaying proxy of the factory-god Oregano, into a buried complex beneath Rustbucket. At the entrance they encountered disposables—blank, obedient humanoids tending storage boxes filled with Oregano’s preserved organs. The disposables treated the components as sacred cargo and followed simple rituals, easily misled by confident authority and routine.

To descend, the party entered Little Oregano, a strange, living elevator that spoke, listened, and reacted emotionally to them. It carried them down into the depths of the complex, where they finally met Oregano itself—an ancient biomechanical intelligence that asked them to help it die by removing the organs sustaining it.

Returning above, the group distracted the disposables and retrieved the organs from storage. Mama, Rook, and Neus chose to implant them, while Stormy refused.
