Pulp Fiction is described as landmark America crime film directed by the great Quentin Tarantino, released in theaters October 1994. It follows the story of two hitmen, a prizefighter, a gangster's wife and a pair of bandits crossing paths in a twisty, blood-soaked journey through the seedy heart of Los Angeles. The Shining is an 80's classic horror/mystery adapter on the Stephen King's novel of the same title. Jack Torrance becomes winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer's block. He settles in along with his wife, Wendy, and his son, Danny, who is plagued by psychic premonitions. As Jack's writing goes nowhere and Danny's visions become more disturbing, Jack discovers the hotel's dark secrets and begins to unravel into a homicidal maniac hell-bent on terrorizing his family.
