About this listen

In our sixth and final episode, we speak to professional endurance athlete Samantha Gash on her resilient journey and being pushed to her limits through numerous challenging terrain. Starting out in her career as a lawyer, Gash reflects on how she transitioned to professional ultrarunning. At just 25-years-old, she became the first woman and the youngest person at the time to complete, in one calendar year, the Four Deserts Grand Slam, which is four 250 kilometre desert ultramarathons, held in four deserts around the world. A trailblazer in the running world, Gash joins in conversation with Tarla Lambert on ‘It Takes Boobs’ to share how she has utilised her resilience and endurance capabilities to drive social impact initiatives and navigate everyday life.
