 This sermon was preached at Crosswater Community Church in Sultan, WA on 12/22/24 This Christmas season we look at 1 John as we reflect on the coming of Jesus, the Light of the World, who transforms every aspect of our lives. We begin by recognizing that God is light, calling us to walk in His truth. As we abide in Him, we live as children of God, experiencing His perfect love and overcoming the darkness of the world through faith in Christ. In turn, we are called to share His light, love, and victory with others, spreading the hope and joy of His coming. 1 John 4: Higher Love.
