Have you ever felt too broken, too flawed, or too far gone to be of any real use to God? That crushing weight of believing you've somehow disqualified yourself from your divine purpose is something I know intimately. After divorce, regrettable choices, and seasons of hiding in unhealthy coping mechanisms, I genuinely believed I had ruined too much to matter.
But even in those darkest chapters, something profound was happening beneath the surface. Spiritual gifts—those sacred abilities given through the Spirit—remained active, waiting to be recognized and embraced. These aren't just talents or personality traits but divine capacities given to every child of God to help us become more like Christ and to help others do the same. The beautiful revelation that changed everything for me was this: spiritual gifts aren't reserved for the perfect. They're given to every one of us, even when our lives feel anything but peaceful or put-together.
Throughout this episode, I share my personal journey of rediscovering my spiritual gifts—like loving people deeply even when they're difficult, sensing others' unspoken pain, and sharing truth with peaceful power. I outline a practical four-step approach to identifying your own gifts through prayer, scripture study, self-observation, and seeking outside insight. You'll discover how to recognize the divine abilities already at work in your life, often showing up in those moments that feel most sacred when you're simply being yourself. Whether you're rebuilding after hardship or seeking deeper purpose, this message carries a powerful truth: you are not empty—you are equipped. God wants to partner with you in your becoming right now, not after your life is perfect. Join me next week as we explore the healing truth of God's unconditional love.
