About this listen

When Tosha's son was diagnosed with Autism, she began therapy to improve his motor and social skills. In the process, she discovered that involving their dog was incredibly helpful for her son and helped with his development profoundly. This inspired her to start a non profit using therapy animals with schools and working with those with special needs. She joins us in this episode to tell us what makes a therapy animal and what qualities they look for in their dogs.References: https://pawsitivefriendships.org/
