 High –powered Hollywood agent Mackenzie Monroe has just gotten engaged to her boyfriend Nick Tenenbaum and they are planning what else? A Christmas wedding in the tiny town of Evergreen Ohio where they first met... oh, and where they first solved two murders. After putting the perpetrators away for life, Mackenzie is looking forward to returning to Evergreen, seeing all of her friends and getting married to the love of her life.
