Allāh responded to their faith by guiding them to strengthen their worship and community through dedicated homes and prayer, offering glad tidings to those who believe.

In this lesson of Sūrah Yūnus (verses 71–78), Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf recounts the stories of Prophet Nūḥ (Noah) and Prophet Mūsā (Moses), highlighting the recurring pattern of denial faced by messengers throughout history. Prophet Nūḥ’s unwavering trust in Allāh is shown as he challenges his people to plot openly against him if they truly oppose his message—yet they still reject him. Allāh saves Nūḥ and those with him, while the deniers are destroyed. The lesson then shifts to the mission of Mūsā and Hārūn (Aaron) sent to Pharaoh and his chiefs, who dismiss the clear signs as magic and respond with arrogance and disbelief. These verses serve as a powerful reminder of the consequences of stubborn rejection and the eventual triumph of truth.

In this lesson of Sūrah Yūnus (verses 62–70), Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf reflects on the honour and reward promised to the awliyā’ (close allies) of Allāh, who live with faith and consciousness of Him. These verses provide comfort and assurance to the believers, stating that such individuals will neither fear nor grieve, and they will receive glad tidings in both this life and the next. The passage reminds us that honour belongs solely to Allāh, who is fully aware of all speech and actions. Shaykh Aḥsan also highlights the futility of associating partners with Allāh, exposing the baseless assumptions made by those who ascribe false beliefs to Him. The lesson closes with a stern warning to those who invent lies about Allāh, as their brief enjoyment in this world will be followed by severe punishment in the Hereafter.
