Long ago Anton Chekov, a famous and well-known Russian writer wrote some beautiful stories. They were comic stories but conveyed an important message about exploitation. The veteran Indian Playwright, Actor and Director, Dinesh Thakur, adapted and presented these stories as an enjoyable play called AAPAS KI BAAT.
In an entertaining, informal chat the writer talks about the various stories fighting for space in his mind and presents four of them to us, his audience, as a play with a full cast of characters.
In the third story, PAANI MEIN DOOBNE WALA AADMI our writer is accosted by a man who earns his living by drowning himself. The fact that he does not know how to swim makes this reality show quite real or is too real??!
