  • Brant Hansen on Short Prayers
    Feb 18 2026
Some days we have time for long, lingering prayers—and other days all we can manage is a quick, “Lord, I need You.” The beautiful thing is that Scripture reminds us those short, specific, urgent prayers still matter deeply. Whether you’re walking into a tough meeting, facing a hard conversation, or just trying to get through the day, a simple, honest cry for help is enough to bring God right into the moment with you.

  • Don't Discount Yourself - You Were Placed Here on Purpose
    Feb 18 2026
Sometimes we’re so quick to overlook our own worth, brushing off the idea that we matter as much as everyone else seems to. But the truth is quieter and far more beautiful: you’re here because God wanted you here. You’re part of His vision for a world filled with beauty, peace, and purpose, and your presence in it is no accident.

  • Love is on the Air Winner: Kim and David
    Feb 13 2026
Congrats to Kim and David—our Love Is on the Air Winners! They’re getting a sweet overnight getaway, dinner at Bow & Stern, and even a little Amazon shopping spree for any last‑minute Valentine’s Day touches, thanks to our friends at Walton Beverage!

Here is the sweet entry that melted our hearts:

"Love Our 40 years together. We were young and full of hope, and we had everything the world had to offer. Family played a big role in my life, and after a few years of marriage, we decided as a couple that we needed to move away to truly become one. We were young and deeply in love. We packed up our lives and moved to another province, stepping into the unknown, hand in hand. We learned of each other as every new couple does. We found a new church and leaned on our love for one another, trusting it to grow – and it did. Before we knew it, 10 years had passed. We became concerned because there were no children yet. We did everything we could to understand why. And learned that we were unable to have children, and so (my husband) loved me even more, filling that space with love.

We shared our lives in simple ways, metal detecting, hiking, and picnics—but it was often the quiet things that meant the most: a soft touch of the hand or a quick kiss, a whisper of “I love you.” Those gestures were enough to fill my whole heart. As time passed, it felt right to move back closer to family on the West Coast. The year we moved back, we found out a month later that we were pregnant. 8-10 weeks later, we lost the child. We grieved together and moved forward, trusting that there are reasons for everything. 30 yrs later, I still love his smile. I still love the way he reaches for my hand, that same special touch. I feel his silent prayers for me and his constant care, and as much happiness and love as he can give, and I, always the doting wife, making sure he feels as much love as I can give. Communicating played a big part in our life together. Our 40-year marriage is coming up this March. With God before us and living in His will, we will continue to share what is truly special, always meeting each other's needs through this life together. Just you, me and God! Happy Valentine’s Day, Husband."

Congratulations Kim and David! Wishing you a very lovely Valentine’s Day weekend, courtesy of our friends at Walton Beverage!

    Jan 8 2026
There’s something powerful about watching God restore hope in a young person’s story. The Resilient Project, founded by Nat Tillis in 2019, is a faith-driven mentoring program supporting underserved youth who have faced trauma and adversity. Caring adults commit to spending weekly time with their mentees, helping them uncover the gifts God has placed within them. With 64 kids enrolled and only half currently matched, the need for mentors is still great. To learn more or make a referral, visit resilientproject.org.
