About this listen
PBS Hour: PBS Kids, A Love Letter, a reckoning
This episode took longer to arrive but for good reason. As a PBS kid turned PBS adult, revisiting these stories stirred more than nostalgia. In the span of seven days, the themes I was editing like care, curiosity, safety, community. Collided with the very real emotions I was carrying in my own life.

Because sometimes the things that raised us meet us again when we need them most — and that can be both comforting and confronting.
If you’ve ever found yourself returning to childhood touchstones during a hard or transitional moment, you’re not alone.
For this episode is for all of us who grew up on PBS, and are still learning how to carry those lessons forward.
Two episodes this week feels right. It’s the holidays. It’s reflective season.
And this one needed its time.
