Lonnie Jones is one of the most, as he describes it, "Eclectic" persons I've met. He is a minister, podcaster, author, SWAT team chaplan, psychologist, husband, and artist...there may be more.

What amazes me is how Lonnie uses all these gifts to glorify God and help those whose hope is being challenged. Lonnie and I discuss the critical concept of hope and his role in helping others discover, sustain, or regain hope.

All of us have challenges to our hope at some point in our life. For some, as in my guest in this podcast, it was significant. His challenge to hope seemed hopeless. Yet he was able to discover how to regain hope through incremental processes. Now, like most of us when we move back onto the pathway of hope, we seek to help others in their journey to hope.

It’s always exciting to speak with someone who has found their place in life and are using it to help others. That’s the idea behind this podcast. How can we use what we’ve been given by God to help others as they discover, sustain, or regain hope.

My guest in this episode is Myron Bruce. Myron uses his knowledge and talents to help us grow in hope through song. We’ll discuss how important it is for our hope, spiritual growth, and support for one another. Even if you are not someone who has a great singing voice, you will enjoy what Myron has to say.
