    Welcome to the Open Seat podcast! On today's episode, we welcome special guest and friend Aaron Wells! Aaron is a PhD student at Colorado School of Mines and an involved member at Storyline Church. Together, we study the first half of 1 John 5. First, we see that through faith in Christ we have become children of God, we have overcome the world, and we have received eternal life. We discuss how the testimony of water, blood, and the Holy Spirit confirms Christ's identity (and our identity in Christ). Finally, we recognize that true life is found only in Jesus Christ through faith.
