About this listen

Just when some folks have been trying to figure out how to use the site for maximum cashing out, it looks like OnlyFans is trying to switch things up away from Pornographic contents. Launched in 2016, OnlyFans is a subscription-based social media platform where users can sell and/or purchase original content- typically Pornographic content. Created by 37years old Hertfordshire-based entrepreneur, Timothy Stokely, to create an Instagram-lookalike with a paywall or worth content for the fan to pay monthly subscription ranging from £4.99 to £49.99.But with ‘fans' paying for content, they expect what creators post to be worth it. And For many, it means seeing adult or pornographic material. The platform soared high in traffic during the COVID Lockdown when mainstream rapper Cardi B, Tyga, Black Chyna, Safaree to mention a few created their onlyfans account. Beyonce also inadvertently caused a 15% spike in the site traffic when she shouted out the site on her featured with Megan the Stallion on Savage Remix, rapping:"Hips TikTok when I dance (Dance)On that Demon Time, she might start an OnlyFans (OnlyFans)"In comparison with other profitable social media platforms, OnlyFans has around 17.5 million users worldwide and over 70,000 content creators, who have received over $150 million since its launch. Content creators keep 80 per cent of their income, while the company takes the remaining 20 per cent- This is Cool Money! And guess what? A lot of Nigerian creators are cashing out in dollars but the question is what's stopping you? Personal values or Home training?
