About this listen

 In the fifth story of this podcast, we narrate the story of how Lord Ganesha lost one of his tooth and came to be known as Ek Dant Ganesh. One day, Lord Parshuram visited Kailash Parvat in order to meet Lord Shiva and seek his blessings. Lord Ganesh was watching over the palace and didn't allow him to enter in as per Mahadev's orders as he was resting. This led to a massive fight between the two and when Lord Parshuram used Mahadev's axe, Ganesh took the blow on one of his tooths and ended up losing it. Since then, he is called as Ek Dant Ganesh.
