  • Ep. 31: Is it time to take a cell phone break?
    Dec 17 2025

In this episode we're asking some important questions about our relationship with our cell phones. How connected is too connected? Does that restless, uneasy feeling some of us get when we haven't looked at the phone for awhile signal an addiction? Do you know where your cell phone is right now and how long has it been since you last looked at your social media or played a game? Kerry admits to falling into a doom scrolling addiction. Maddie confesses that a lot of the time she doesn't know where her phone has gone and feeling anxious until she locates it. And Jennifer reveals a healthy attitude toward her own phone and an ability to use it responsibly. (We considered calling this episode Be Like Jennifer.🤣)

We'd love to hear from you on this topic. What is your relationship with your phone? Are you possibly overly dependent? Do you have any tips or techniques to share on how to manage our screen time better? Email us at onehappythingpodcast@gmail.com, or find us on social media:

  • Ep. 30: The Joy of Finding—and living—your purpose
    Dec 3 2025

Today we’re diving into a question that sounds, and feels, important: what does it mean to live with purpose? And how do we go about doing that? As we discovered in this conversation, all three of us have slightly different ways of thinking about the idea, but really we’re all talking about the same thing in the end: finding something in your life that calls to you, brings you joy, and benefits others along the way.

There’s a lot more to be said on the subject, but we hope that our thoughts will get your own brain firing and we’d love to hear your ideas, insights, and stories. Drop us a comment or send us an email at onehappythingpodcast@gmail.com.
