 Omar Iturrieta fue detenido y torturado durante la dictadura de Augusto Pinochet por su militancia socialista. Tras sobrevivir un episodio violento frente a un pelotón de fusilamiento en su país, él se prometió “no odiar a nadie” nunca más. Por ello, desde que llegó al “paraíso” australiano en 1974, ha dedicado su vida “en pro de la solidaridad”, según relata este chileno septuagenario a SBS Spanish.
