 17 anys després de l'inici de les obres, ja ha quedat obert a la circulació l'enllaç entre l'AP-7 i l'A-2, a l'altura de Castellbisbal, al Vallès Occidental. La via, que ha costat poc més de 88 milions d'euros i que uneix el Vallès amb el Baix Llobregat, donarà servei a un milió i mig de ciutadans de l'Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona.
