As you know Lincoln, my dogonaut, a brother from another mother, tell story’s of those who have run ins with Big Foot, Loch Ness monster, the Jersey Devil, etc. Cryptids are an animal (such as Sasquatch or the Loch Ness Monster) that has been claimed to exist but never proven to exist Contrary to popular belief, cryptids don’t have to be supernatural, mythical or even all that strange—though many popular creatures acquire these characteristics as their legends grow. Whether folklore, or derived by our imaginations, people from all over report run ins with these creatures.     The number 33 has a long history of coincidences, often expressed in bizarre and incredulous ways. Human psychology has an innate ability to create meaningfully mysterious (my favorite oxymoron) synchronicities out of otherwise random connections, and provide self-fulfilling confirmation to support our interpretation of events. Whether it’s meaningful or just coincidence, it’s still a fun examination, and provides a few moments of enjoyment when you look at the possibilities that surround these connections. Phoenix, AZ sits on the 33rd parallel of latitude and was once home to an ancient civilization known as the Hohokam. The largest hub of that culture was known as Snake Town, a connection to the importance of the serpent in ancient times, and which sits almost perfectly on the 33rd parallel
