Wer sich mediterranen Flair auf den Balkon holen will, sollte sich einen Olivenbaum anschaffen. Die sonne- und wärmeliebenden Pflanzen sind nicht besonders pflegeintensiv. Nur Frost mögen sie nicht und dauerhaft sollte das Thermometer nicht unter -5 Grad Celsius sinken. Überlegt euch also gut, wie und wo ihr die Bäumchen überwintern könnt. Alex beispielsweise kommt da schon an seine Grenzen, wie er erzählt. Lena hingegen hat auf dem überdachten und geschützten Balkon gute Erfahrungen gemacht.
