  • Too Dead to Hear the Gospel? (The Lie of Regeneration Before Faith)
    Dec 30 2025

Is your prodigal child waiting to be “zapped”? Many theology textbooks say they’re a “corpse.”

The reformed theologians admit they can physically hear the words you say, but claim they’re spiritually unable to respond to them. They teach that until God secretly “regenerates” them (makes them alive), the Gospel is just noise to their dead spirit.

Calvinists say they must be Alive before they can Believe.

But that puts the cart before the horse.

If “Regeneration precedes Faith,” why does Jesus explicitly say in John 5:25 that the dead will HEAR His voice… and those who hear will live?

In this episode, we take a sledgehammer to the “T” in TULIP (Total Inability). We prove that spiritual life is not the cause of faith, but the result of it. Your prodigal doesn’t need to be “zapped” to hear the Shepherd; they need to stop covering their ears.

The Gospel is the power of God. It doesn’t need a head start.

    We cover:

    • The Sequence Error: Why “Life before Faith” is functionally impossible.
    • The Lazarus Fallacy: Why the tomb isn’t a proof-text for Calvinism.
    • The Mother’s Hope: Why God is drawing them right now, and the choice is truly theirs.

Stop waiting for a zap. Start praying for surrender.

  • Does God Love Everyone? (The "Limited Atonement" Problem)
    Dec 9 2025

Is God’s love limited to the elect, or is it truly for the whole world? Today we are looking at the theological tension of “Limited Atonement” and why our definitions of words like “World” and “All” matter more than we think.🔒 LISTEN TO THE FULL DEEP-DIVE EPISODE:I’ve recorded a full, unfiltered breakdown of this topic in The Upper Room. We put away the systems and open the Greek lexicon to ask the hard questions I can’t answer in a short video.👉 Listen here: https://patreon.com/jdavidwyattIn the exclusive Patreon episode, we cover:- The “Sin vs. Grace” Contradiction: Why does “All” mean everyone when we talk about Sin (Romans 3:23), but suddenly shrink to “the Elect” when we talk about Grace?- The “Pocket Dictionary” Problem: How words like “World,” “Whosoever,” and “Everyone” get redefined to protect a theological system rather than reveal the Father.- The Evangelism Crisis: Can you honestly look a stranger in the eye and say, “God loves you”? Or do you have to add a mental asterisk?- The Scripture Evidence: We walk through 1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, John 3:16, and the specific Greek meaning of mnáomai (remembrance). This is an “in-house” family discussion. • God’s Healing Prescription (Is It Always His Will?)
    Dec 5 2025

Is your prayer for healing a “prescription” or just a wish? In James 5, God gives us a specific 3-step process for healing, but most Christians are too afraid to use it.

We love to sing about God as “Jehovah Rapha,” but when sickness actually hits, our confidence evaporates. We hedge our bets. We often use “Lord, if it be Your will” not as a prayer of submission like Jesus did in the Garden, but as a spiritual safety net because we are afraid nothing will happen.

But if God has clearly revealed His will in James 5, are we praying out of faith, or are we just reading the Bible with our fingers crossed?

In this episode of News from the Pew, we open the bottle on God’s prescription found in James Chapter 5. We aren’t talking about “name it and claim it” theology—we are talking about reading the Greek text, understanding what “The Prayer of Faith” actually means, and answering the hard questions about why we don’t see more miracles today.

    We tackle the biggest objections:

💊 The Prescription: The specific role of Elders, Oil, and Confession.
📖 The Greek: Why the KJV translators used “shall” and “will” (it’s not a suggestion).
🤔 Paul’s Thorn: Debunking the myth that Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” was a sickness God refused to heal.
🍷 Timothy’s Stomach: Why using medicine doesn’t mean you lack faith.

It’s time to stop making excuses for why we don’t see miracles and start taking God at His Word.

  • The "No Kings" Lie: Why Human Government Fails & The Ruler You Actually Need
    Oct 25 2025

Trust is dead. Institutions are crumbling. Millions are marching across 2,600 cities under the banner of "No Kings." The cultural mood is exhausted, chaotic, and cynical. But while the world screams for the end of authority, Scripture suggests the problem isn’t that we have kings—it’s that we’ve been worshiping the wrong ones.

In this episode, we cut through the noise of the 2025 protests to uncover a timeless truth: political salvation is a myth. We are looking at why human leaders (from Saul to modern presidents) always disappoint, and why the "No Kings" movement is missing the most important reality of the cosmos.

We aren't here to take political sides. We’re here to introduce you to the only King who bleeds for His enemies rather than crushing them.

    In this episode, we cover:

      • The Trap of "No Kings": Why rejecting all authority leads to a spiritual vacuum.

      • The 1 Samuel Warning: God’s ancient prediction about the tyranny of human government (and why we didn't listen).

      • Jesus vs. Pilate: The shocking difference between earthly power and Kingdom authority.

      • The Christian’s Political Strategy: How to engage in politics without losing your soul to an outrage cycle.

      • The Ultimate Hope: Why Revelation 19 is the antidote to election anxiety.

    Scripture References:
    Ephesians 2, 1 Samuel 8, Isaiah 9, Daniel 7, John 18, Colossians 1, Revelation 19.

Stop looking to Washington for what only Heaven can provide. It’s time to bow the knee to the King who is Faithful and True.

  • WORLDCOIN: Precursor to the Mark of the Beast?
    Oct 24 2024

In this thought-provoking episode, we explore whether Worldcoin, a project by OpenAI (creators of ChatGPT) CEO Sam Altman, could be paving the way for the prophesied Mark of the Beast from Revelation. We examine three key aspects of Worldcoin that raise biblical concerns:

    • The "Orb" iris-scanning system that eerily mirrors prophecies of a global identification requirement
    • The push toward a cashless society that could restrict buying and selling to system participants
    • The goal of uniting humanity under one digital framework

Through the lens of scripture, particularly Revelation 13:16-17 and 17:12-13, we consider whether these technological developments might be laying groundwork for end-times prophecies, calling believers to remain vigilant and discerning in these uncertain times.
