 Natalia Sinelnikova ist Regisseurin und Drehbuchautorin. 1996 immigrierten sie und ihre Familie als jüdische Kontingentflüchtlinge aus Russland nach Deutschland. Sie studierte Kulturwissenschaften in Hildesheim und Filmregie in Potsdam. Ihr erster Langspielfilm “Wir könnten genauso gut tot sein” feierte seine Premiere bei der Berlinale 2022 und eröffnete die Sektion Perspektive Deutsches Kino. Der Kinostart ist im September geplant. Mit Mirna Funk spricht sie über ihr Ankommen in Deutschland, ihre jüdische Identität und darüber, wie man jüdische Figuren erzählt, ohne in Stereotype zu verfallen.
