• Vision Pt 1 | Pastor Alvin III
    Feb 10 2026
Pastor Alvin unpacks the first two steps of our church’s vision and why they are foundational for every believer. Knowing God is not about getting your life together first. It begins with coming to Jesus and trusting the mercy that brings us from death to life. But knowing God is only the beginning. Jesus also invites us to find freedom by laying aside the weights that slow us down. Shame, fear, regret, pride, and isolation all keep us from running the race God has set before us. Through Scripture and practical teaching, this message shows how freedom is sustained through community and why walking with others creates the kind of environment where healing lasts. This is the starting point. Knowing God and finding freedom prepare us for what’s next as we discover our purpose and learn how to make a difference. • The Greatest Year | Pastor Pearson Pretorius
    Feb 9 2026
This week, we are honored to welcome back Pearson Pretorius from 3C Church in South Africa for a powerful, paradigm-shifting message. While many seek a year of "glory" or "blessing," Pastor Pearson challenges us to pursue something deeper: The Greatest Year. Drawing from Colossians 2, this episode is a call to move away from "outside-in" Christianity—where we strive for religious approval—and into an "inside-out" life fueled by the Spirit. If you’ve felt exhausted by the pressure to "do more" for God, this message is your invitation to trade religious effort for true communion. In this episode, we discuss: The Abel Heart: Learning to seek intimacy with God rather than credit from men.Breaking the Transaction: Why God’s heart is found in the depth of your walk, not the height of your performance. The Power of Yielding: Moving from human strength to the freedom and healing found in Zechariah 4:6.Identity in Christ: Remembering that everything you need is already found in Him—not in the traditions or "rules" of men. Stop striving for a breakthrough and start living from the rest that Christ has already provided. Because God doesn’t want you to do more; He wants you to seek more. Scripture references: Colossians 2:6–10 Zechariah 4:6 Ephesians 2:8–10 John 15:14 Matthew 7:21–23 Psalm 51:16–17 Genesis 4:1–7 ABOUT US At Nashville Life Church, our vision is dedicated to following Jesus & building leaders. • Pray First Pt 4 | Pastor Alvin III
    Feb 9 2026

In Part 4 of our Pray First series, Pastor Alvin breaks down the ancient blueprint of the Tabernacle Prayer—a step-by-step journey designed by God to lead us from the outer courts straight into the Holy of Holies.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • The Access Path: Navigating the biblical pattern of thanksgiving, the cross, and the Word.
    • The Prayer Ceiling: Identifying the unconfessed sins and distractions that limit your ability to hear God’s voice.
    • The Encounter: How to move beyond surface-level "to-do lists" and into a face-to-face, heart-to-heart connection.

When we follow His pattern and choose to Pray First, we don’t just recite words—we enter the Presence.

    Scripture references:

    Exodus 25:8–9

    Mark 4:18–19

    Psalm 100:4

    Psalm 103:2–5

  • Pray First: The Prayer of Jabez | Pastor Alvin III
    Jan 23 2026

In Part 2 of our Pray First series, Pastor Alvin walks through the Prayer of Jabez and shows how bold, faith-filled prayer positions us to live beyond our past, our shame, and our self-sufficiency. Jabez’s life began with pain, but his prayer pointed toward blessing, influence, and purpose. This message challenges us to trust God’s heart, ask for His blessing without fear, depend on His presence, and walk in His protection. Because when we pray first, we stop leaning on ourselves and start living as people called to make an eternal difference. Prayer isn’t passive. It’s how we align our lives with a God who is more than enough. Scripture References:

    • 1 Chronicles 4:9–10 (The Prayer of Jabez)
    • Genesis 12:3
    • Genesis 26:12–13
    • 2 Corinthians 10:15–16

We explore how "praying first" shifts our perspective from self-sufficiency to total trust, bringing the atmosphere of Heaven into our daily reality. • The Invitation Pt 4 | Pastor Alvin III
    Jan 3 2026

In Part 4 of The Invitation series, Pastor Alvin Love III reveals that God is inviting us into a legacy of faith. From the beginning of Scripture, God has always worked through family and lineage. His people are connected by one defining trait: faith. A faith that pursues God’s promises even when they cannot yet be seen. Drawing from Hebrews 11 and Hebrews 12, this message reminds us that when we say yes to Jesus, we are welcomed into God’s family and entrusted with carrying that legacy forward. Though the journey of faith includes hardship and endurance, Jesus remains the author and finisher of our faith. Discover why faith is God’s family legacy, why perseverance matters, and why your life is part of a much bigger story.

    • Hebrews 11
    • Hebrews 11:39-40

  • The Invitation Pt3 | Pastor Alvin III
    Jan 3 2026

In Part 3 of The Invitation series, Pastor Alvin Love III shares a Christmas message centered on God’s heart for family. While Jesus is the Messiah, King of Kings, and Savior, Scripture also calls Him the Son. And that distinction reveals the purpose of His coming. Through Jesus, God is inviting humanity back into His family. Drawing from Isaiah 9, Matthew 7, John 8, and Romans 8, this message shows that God’s desire has always been togetherness. Not distance. Not religion. Family. Natural families are a gift, but they last only a lifetime. God’s family, formed through adoption in Christ, lasts forever. Discover why Jesus is the invitation, why belonging is the goal, and why accepting the Son is the only way home.

    Scripture references:

    • Isaiah 9:6
    • Matthew 7:11
    • John 8:44
    • Romans 8:14-17
    • Isaiah 55
    • Romans 8:38-39
