About this listen

The Granite Mountains Record Vault, commonly called the Mormon Mountain Vault, is one of the most secure locations in the world. In 1958, the Mormon church began drilling into a solid stone mountain to build vaults for precious items. What are those items? Billions and billions of family history records, photographs and death records. There is a good reason for this. But what if there is something more? Many people believe that sacred and highly sought religious artifacts are hiding deep in the mountain. Are the Golden Plates there? What about the Ark of the Covenant? Aaron's Rod? The Liahona? The Urim and Thummim? If you love a good conspiracy story, this one might be new for you. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Mormons, are obsessed with genealogy and do a lot of good in that work. Some people believe there is much more going on than meets the eye.
