In a quiet corner of Argyll, tucked between the hills and the heather, lived a small and curious Highland cow named Molly.
Molly was not like the other coos. Oh, she had the same shaggy ginger coat and the same proud little horns, but Molly had something else too: a nose for adventure and a head full of questions. She lived near a loch—that’s a Scottish lake—where the water winked in the sunlight, and the air always smelled faintly of pinecones, porridge, and wild stories waiting to be discovered.
Each morning, as the mist curled low over the fields, Molly would poke her head out of the barn and wonder, “What’s going to happen today?”
Because something always did.
