Mind The Gap

  • Summary

  • ARE YOU READY TO DO A DEEP DIVE INTO NOSTALGIA? Mother and daughter duo Griz & JL have a special relationship. Whether it's chats about JL's latest tinder date, or her mum, Griz, not knowing how to use the eggplant emoji correctly– you're in for a fun ride.

Our lighthearted podcast is keeping you up to date on the latest issues, such as Australia's potato shortage *insert crying emoji* and why Prince Harry refers to his *eggplant emoji* as a TODGER!

Between laughs and "OMG" moments... we sprinkle nostalgia into every ep– which is something everyone can relate to. Whether it's 80s music trivia or JLs trip down memory lane of retro lunchbox items (think LCMs, ovaltines and TINY TEDDIES)...

Every listener will be brought back to what we have loved and what we have lost (RIP candy necklaces).

Griz is A 21 year old woman (she told me to write that). 51 years young, Griz is truly one of a kind. My friends enjoy her company more than mine. Quick witted, bubbly and fun– Griz is the queen of making anyone laugh. She's owned her small business for 17 years... working with organisations to better their sales and team. A boss woman, who takes a genuine interest in her daughter's life. Especially when it comes to dating... still asking JL "Are you still on Bumbler?".... it's called bumble mum.

JL is a 27 year old woman and has a knack for self-deprecation.  Whether it's her "big head", which her mum constantly reminds her of or her awkward encounters with every day people... you'll relate to her just-trying-to-figure-out-life persona.

Two generations... one podcast. What could go wrong? Everything.

Join us, and some very unique guests as we try to figure out life and have fun while doing it!

  • Sister Wives And Kissing On The Oval
    Jan 28 2024

Heyooooo and Happy Monday to wherever you're listening from!

This week– the girls chat about life love and everything in between.

JL loves third wheeling her parents. But she's not sure the love is reciprocal.

Then, sister wives: what in the WORLD.

A reality television show that defies monogamy and is just straight-up-weird. But Griz loves it, so the girls do a deep dive into how 18 seasons of this show even EXIST.

It's back to school time, so JL & Griz think it's timely to talk about what was 'trending' in their generations– think Dunlop Volleys.

PLUS: An Uber love story & kiss on the oval... all will be revealed!

  • Tourette's, Totally Wild & Taboo Facts With Seamus Evans
    Dec 8 2023

    Hello Gappies!

On this week's podcast, we welcome the amazing Seamus Evans!

Seamus Evans was a household name, appearing on Ten's Totally Wild as well as reaching fame by hosting a very successful radio show.

He was flourishing in a world he always dreamed of.

But it didn't start out that way...

Seamus has Tourettes, a syndrome he's lived with since early childhood.

But that hasn't stopped him. In fact, it's actually given him "superpowers".

These days he's found on the keynote circuit talking all things Tourettes, totally wild and a few taboo facts...

Thank you Seamus– you've inspired us and we know you'll inspire our listeners!
