 Let’s be real, there are some major issues within the Western Evangelical Church. Some of them are blatantly obvious but others are a bit harder to pick up on. Growing up in this world caused some significant problems in my life and the way I developed as a person. From purity culture and sexual scandals to christian politics and the indoctrination of things that just aren’t biblical, I’m here to talk about it all. What does the Bible actually say? What were the circumstances and historical backgrounds of what was written and how does that affect the tone and meaning of the text? What does following Jesus Christ actually look like?
