  • Episode 3: Leann Rominger Scott: Marathoner, Ultramarathoner, upcoming Boston Marathon runner, XPT trainer, Texas Hill Country local
    Mar 19 2024

Leann Rominger Scott is one of the most inspiring athletes and trainers I know. She gives up a lot for her the people she trains and for her community, and I'm so excited to be able to share some of her incredible stories.

Also, apologies for the sound quality. Looks like I wasn't standing on the right side of the microphone. At least she sounds good.

  • Episode 2: Angela Grannan, Cancer Survivor, Boston Marathoner, HOU-NOLA cyclist, RIM-RIM-RIM Grand Canyon Hiker
    Feb 4 2024

For my second episode, I decided to tell the story of my mother, Angela Grannan, who was the original person who inspired me to start running.

She's run the Boston Marathon twice, she's hiked the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim, and she's cycled from Houston, TX, to New Orleans, LA, in the span of a week. Lastly, she's fought the biggest battle for years, cancer.

Listen in about her life, what continues to inspire her, and how she inspired me to start into the sport of running here. Who knows, you might even hear a story about a dead body?

    Show notes:

Music by: Hotham: "Sunset Drive," on SoundCloud
Run group she joined in Houston: Houston Fit
